Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?

alot of the GI's that are killed is because of the hold fire until given the ok. the troops need to be able to fire first and not wait until shot at before reacting.

Would you quantify "alot" and provide a citation, as well as reference to the specific doctrine to which you are refering?

What percentage of the current fatalities in Iraq do you think have been due to IEDs?

just because things got hard doesn't mean you run and hide. is completing something you started that hard for americans to do anymore? are we just a bunch of quitters in this country?

I just want all the staunch supporters of the war to be a bunch of JOINERS... but alas most of them are too fucking chicken.........

cluck cluck cluck to all the right wing CHICKENHAWKS out there....

I'm still waiting to see those LONG lines of left wingers volunteering for Afghanistan, since they *supposedly* support that ... seems somehow they're too busy at their protests to serve.

Does that make them chickenhawks, or just plain chicken?

Assassination maybe

No not that. Submission for war crimes trial yes. Gitmo is a war crime.

Obviously, in your OPINION, since that WOULD be sufficient grounds for impeachment.

Cheesed off of a MSNBC poll. Was curious to see how this poll would shape up here in Speaker's Corner.

So what do you think?

how should I know?

The constitution does a terrible job explaining when impeachment is
applicable - "high crimes and misdemeanors" is vague 14th century
terminology and everybody has a different oppinion on what that's
supposed to mean.

It appears though that it does not include incompetence, no matter
how blatant and devastating to the country - the 18th century term
"maldaministration" was removed from the earlier drafts.

the majority was in favor of the war in iraq now the majority is is not in favor of the war. what did those that changed their mind think was going to happen ? the U.S. would go over and say stop and they would go ok and all would be fine? everybody is afraid to get their hands dirty nowdays. as someone once said " the pusification of the US is almost complete

The American public was lied to and scared shitless ...results were as intended.

Reasonable, rational, intelligent citizens now know better.

A bit of research (even just a profile check) would not go amiss.;)

What are you implying?

I am not implying anything.

Well, if you mean learning skills in the military, quitting and signing on for big bucks as a civilian contractor is helping out ...OK.

Not a damn thing wrong with that. I'm just not motivated to wave the flag and sing God Bless America.

I was a telecom switch installer in the service. Now I do long haul comms. Not a whole lot of overlap there.

As for the big bucks theory... except for the tax break, I could make the same or more stateside... *IF* they used the equipment I service. Just shows that "what everyone knows" from watching the news isn't always valid, eh?

as in skydiving i don't scare. i look at a situation and address it as needed. only irrational people run around screaming "i'm scarred".
just because the president or someone says things that are not good doesn't mean you make an irrational move. The american public had plenty of time to make a good descision about the war in iraq. i was convinced that even if half of what was told to me (since i don't trust anyone in the government and if you did you're a fool) was true, nocking out sadam was a good thing. Also as long as the front is in iraq or afganistan it is not here and that makes me feel safer. terrorist are here in this world to stay , were would you like the fighting to be? here ?

I just asked if you were going to join and help out. Will you?

Dude you are the one with the my team vs their team mentality. I don't give a crap about Dem or Reps. Pretty much my sole political concern is the jagoff in the WH wiping his ass on our constitution.

and the prevoius 10 presidents wiped their ass with it also. it is surprising that so many are shocked at what is happening when we keep electing theese people. if someone has a better candidate or can do a better job please step forward.
this new crop of presidential hopefulls is looking worse than the last. when we vote we need to look at the whole picture not just one aspect of the candidate. right now i will vote for the lessor of the evils not because i like the candidate. this is how bush got reelected. if gore was even remotely a good choice he would be president.
why is it that everyone bitches about what is happening but we never seem to get a better choice?
america is turning into a country full of whiney, snot nose, politically correct, and spinelss wimps that are only concerned with themselves. patriotism is dead in this country.

Because Americans watch too much television and don't read enough. As long as Americans are lazy and apathetic, presidential candidates will always suck.

As long as Ellen Degeneris' dog, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Anna Nicole and Kanye West's mother are more important to Americans than things that actually matter, nothing will change.

We get what we deserve.

I know right! See attachments below, might make you feel better.

I already served in the military, and am still serving (support). When are YOU volunteering to go to Afghanistan?

But yet, you always seem to have the Dem talking points on speed dial...imagine that.

Did you have the same problem with the prior inhabitant? It's not like it hasn't been happening for DECADES, after all.

at least this president is doing someting other than getting a blow job and then wasting millions on court dates determining weather a blow job is sex. while clinton was defending his blow job, the enron scandle (being fed millions by clinton ), osama and his plans and attacks, and the talaban were all going strong, planning attacks, and relieving many of their hard earned dollars. to bad clinton didn't spend any time or money on the serious issues.

>at least this president is doing someting other than getting a blow job . . .

I'm all for more blowjobs and fewer wars.

>then wasting millions on court dates determining weather a blow job is sex.

I'm all for wasting millions in court instead of hundreds of billions on an unneeded, bloody war.

Clinton tried to kill Bin Laden and failed (and was crucified by the GOP for even trying.) Bush tried to kill Bin Laden and gave up. So far they are just as successful.
