Richards 0 #2 October 31, 2007 Shame that the hero wasn't a better shot. Vermin like this bates guy would not be missed. My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.
itllclear 1 #3 October 31, 2007 Why only 3 or 4 shots? Didn't he have any more bullets?"Harry, why did you land all the way out there? Nobody else landed out there." "Your statement answered your question."

warpedskydiver 0 #6 October 31, 2007 Thanks, I am really glad the old lady was unhurt. Memphis was once a beautiful city in the river. Now it is a cesspool filled with nothing but vermin.
kschilk 0 #7 November 1, 2007 In 1989, I was stationed in Norfolk, VA. Carjackings were just becoming "popular" with the local criminals but there were enough incidents (several per day), that an ordinance was passed which allowed drivers to keep a LOADED handgun in the vehicle....so long as it was placed on the front seat and in plain view. The next morning, some clown in Oceanview decided to try carjacking a man who had stopped for a stop sign. As the would-be carjacker ran to the car and opened the passenger side door, he was shot by the driver...who had a loaded revolver sitting out on the passenger seat. Within hours, the shooting was ruled a "justifiable homicide" and the story made the front page of the evening newspapers. There were no more carjackings in that area, for the rest of my tour (4 years). Funny how that works."T'was ever thus."
