You presumed correct on both accounts. Risk, when calculated, is a good thing. I only have one tandem jump currently but I will be starting my AFF courses soon.

Sunscreen PSA:

Use a micronized zinc oxide sunscreen on your kids - not that Banana Boat-type shit full of chemicals you can get at the drug store.

Spend the extra $$ for a sunscreen that won't absorb into their skin. At least until they're 5-6 years old.
