Why would you want a gun?

I'm not aware that Elizabeth ever started a war under false pretenses that killed tens

Gosh, I'm confused. Are you speaking of Chuck Shumer (D) who made speeches and voted for the war ? Or was it John Kerry (D), who voted for it (before he voted against it). Or was it Teddy Kennedy, who rallied liberals in the Senate against Hussein and voted for war. They all voted for WAR (eek!) based upon the same intelligence Bush saw.

But no. Perhaps you're speaking of Hillary Clinton who said we have a responsibility to disarm Iraq. Yes, she must be the one you mean, for she voted for war after seeing the intelligence provided by the British intelligence agencies. Oh, and the French. And the German. And the Russian.

Boy, did that woman pull one over on us just for her oil buddies. I guess that's why she's never voted to defund the war and said she'd never pull out American troops before 2013. For that matter, so did trial lawyer what's-his-name and Barack Hussein Obama.

Well I guess we can count on your vote for President Rudy Giuliani. Welcome aboard.

P.S. I know you academics love research, so here are a few factoids you may have missed:

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
- President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
- Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"We know that he has stored secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country."
- Al Gore, Sept. 23, 2002

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction."
- Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002

"I will be voting to give the President of the United States the authority to use force -- if necessary -- to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security."
- Sen. John F. Kerry (D, MA), Oct. 9, 2002

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members ... It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

So it seems.

If you can’t debate the merits of your argument, call into question the character of your opponent.

Thanks for the victory, friend.

It's already been debated to death in this forum. Use the search function. There is not even ONE new item in your silly list.

You flatter yourself some more. I question your competence with the list and your memory of previous threads, not your character.

PS that's one of dozens.:P

I wonder if they were shown different intelligence than was shown to Bush...

Bush and his cronies had made it clear to really only bring forward "evidence" if it supported their wish to invade. Even if most other intelligence agencies already knew that the "evidence" was false or seriously flawed.

(or coming from a single source who was trying to grand stand, but that is a whole different story)
