Blasts hit Bhutto Karachi convoy...

Several blasts have occurred near the motorcade carrying Pakistani ex-PM Benazir Bhutto, during her triumphant homecoming after eight years in exile.

Mrs Bhutto was on her way from Karachi airport to a welcome rally when the explosions took place.

Initial reports said at least 15 people were injured in the blasts, but Mrs Bhutto was not thought to be among them. At least one vehicle was damaged.

Unconfirmed reports said several people were killed.

Hundreds of thousands of people had turned out to greet the former PM.

The motorcade is now said to be at a standstill.

The cause of the blasts is not clear.

Al Qaeda?

Let's see. Who didn't want Bhutto to return? Who's power is threatened by Bhutto. Who controls access to lots of stuff that goes "bang" in Pakistan?

Hmmm....

Tone down the sarcasm, Your Eminence. I hadn't been surfing cnn.com or some other site. It was a legit question. No need to be a wiseass.

You tone it down...don't you know who you are talking too. Do as I say, not as I do.

That would be my guess too. Mrs. Peacock got away, unharmed?

Time will tell.

Or this from the news story?:

"Militants linked to al-Qaida, angered by Bhutto's support for the United States war on terrorism, had earlier threatened to assassinate her."

Unlikely, President Musharraf's position is strengthened by her return and her survival. Her return is to solidify a political pact with Musharraf.

Isn't it quite obvious who attacked her? For those not quite in the script, let's just say multiple attackers trying to achieve the same.....what!?:o

What I cannot tease someone I know in real life and consider a friend?

I'm not 100% certain he sees it the same way. Just to make sure, why not give it a rest for a bit and ask him the next time you actually see him in person.

Look I don't know about you but I cannot read minds, and besides John is a big boy now and if he wanted me to stop he would have asked me to either via PM or in a post.

But thanks for being you.

I do not have to agree with someone just because they are a friend or I have respect for them.:P

I shall now stick to single syllable words in order to avoid irratating the SC aristocracy.:o:)

Believe it or not, I can't read minds either. That said, I can read what is on the forum and that's really all I have to go by. This seems to have gone well beyond "friendly" teasing.

As I said, you can cool it for now or, yes, you can and will be banned.

LOL. Good one;)
