DZJ 0 #1 September 29, 2007 Heard this on the BBC World Service earlier, and I'm sure people will find it interesting. S/Sgt Bellavia describes his experiences, in sometimes very graphic and disturbing terms, of fighting in Fallujah. He talks of the psychological/physical/spiritual toll of battle, the allure of combat, and the experience of killing (sometimes at extreme close quarters). http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/podcasts/interview/ Right-click and 'save target as' on the 'download episode' link.
