Report: WA Representative One Of Most Corrupt In Congress


A Washington representative has made an annual list of the most corrupt members of Congress. Representative Doc Hastings, whose district includes the Tri-Cities and Yakima, is one of 22 members of Congress that received the dubious honor from the group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

Hastings made the list for contacting former U-S Attorney John McKay about alleged voter fraud in the 2004 gubernatorial election. The move seen by many as inappropriate, considering Hastings was chair of the House Ethics Committee at the time.

Something on that list caught my eye, so I did a bit of Googling. I didn't know CA had TWO comedians named "Jerry Lewis".
