rehmwa 2 #14 September 21, 2007 Quote What's an "ass model"?? (just checked your profile!) I can think of three things: Like a Hand Model - except for pants and swimsuits, one's ass is used to make products more sellable Like a Role Model - serve as a living example of how to be an ass Like Barker's Beauties - Stand next to an ass (instead of a NEW CAR) and point at it. While well dressed and smiling. Monte Hall had donkeys as prizes on occasion, so an ass model was needed ... Driving is a one dimensional activity - a monkey can do it - being proud of your driving abilities is like being proud of being able to put on pants

Rover 11 #18 September 21, 2007 I wish no harm to your son, but with an attitude like yours and the rest of the posters displayed in this thread, your collective sons and daughters will continue to come home in bags. Your gungho support for the invasion and occupation of a foreign country under false pretences will only bring more pain and suffering to all concerned. Continue to bury your heads in the sand, but please understand that the vast majority are opposed to Americas interventionist policies.2 wrongs don't make a right - but 3 lefts do. We intervened by going after the people who planned the World Trade Center atrocities in AFGHANISTAN because they would not turn over the people behind the attacks.... they were providing the support that Al Queda needed to murder THOUSANDS of Americans as well as thousands of others in other attacks...in Africa etc. Hell the Taliban were pretty good at murdering their own people for all kinds of supposed offenses. The Taliban got a lot of support from the foreign fighters of Bin Laden and friends...murdering many thousands of Afghani's. I guess we should have just have said thank you.. can you kill a few more thousands of my countrymen SIR... Like it or not the US is involved in the affairs of the countries of this planet. THe US does things for its own interests.. BUT those interests tend to have stabilized this planet and prevented any major wars for the last 60 years or so..... or would you prefer to be speaking Japanese right now... that a HELL of a lot of dead young Americans prevented. Yes it has cost American lives... perhaps all the other countries of the world that preach peace need to step up and shed some of their fucking blood for once..
