1969912 0 #1 September 21, 2007 WTF? Police in Bicester set up a drug testing station in a pub, and swabbed the palms of every customer before they were allowed to enter. The swab was checked for drug residue. Anyone who tested positive was searched on the spot for possession of drugs. 150 people submitted to the test. The police explained that it was part of a crackdown on violent street crime. But for some reason, they did nothing to stop the patrons from ingesting the drug that the pub was selling -- alcohol -- which is often found in the bloodstream of people who commit acts of violence. http://www.oxfordmail.net/search/display.var.1684171.0.drug_scanner_checks_public.php EDIT: Just noticed that the bar is located on "Sheep Street" "Once we got to the point where twenty/something's needed a place on the corner that changed the oil in their cars we were doomed . . ." -NickDG
Armour666 0 #2 September 21, 2007 I wonder how sensitive the test is and how much it takes to show positive. I’ve study’s that in large urban center up to 75% of currency in the US has traces of drugs on it (Don't know the percentages in Britain or even Canada but I would assume in areas with drug use problems this would hold true as well)SO this one time at band camp.....
