Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt he file this to show you can sue for anything and wanted to bring light to the fact? It seems someone gets a hang nail and wants to file suit.

Much ado about nothing. There are lots of countries in which you can sue for anything, not just the US. All "suing" is, is simply filing a piece of paper - a compliant - with a court. And in each of those countries - yes, including the US - if it's sheer, utter nonsense on the very face of the complaint, the court will toss it outta there right quick 99.9% of the time. It's usually the other 0.01% that tends to make the newspapers.
