Rookie120 0 #8 September 18, 2007 Correct me if I'm wrong but didnt he file this to show you can sue for anything and wanted to bring light to the fact? It seems someone gets a hang nail and wants to file suit.If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck!
Andy9o8 2 #9 September 19, 2007 Much ado about nothing. There are lots of countries in which you can sue for anything, not just the US. All "suing" is, is simply filing a piece of paper - a compliant - with a court. And in each of those countries - yes, including the US - if it's sheer, utter nonsense on the very face of the complaint, the court will toss it outta there right quick 99.9% of the time. It's usually the other 0.01% that tends to make the newspapers.

You'd have to in any of dozens of countries in which a stupid suit might be filed. Despite all the popular hyperbole, there really is nothing particular to the US about that. One of two court filings from "God" came Wednesday under otherworldly circumstances, according to John Friend, clerk of the Douglas County District Court in Omaha.
