RkyMtnHigh 0 #76 September 8, 2007 There was a guy who was interviewed about the situation who said that he was the passenger sitting next to her and that he didn't need the temptation because he was a married man and would prefer that women wouldn't dress like that in public. hmmmmmmm Did he feel tempted to touch her or something? Geez. If so, that is HIS problem to deal with his own lack of restraint and temptation. Makes me think of back in the 80s when I had a Mormon boss who would not allow me to wear skirts above the knee or pantsuits because it was against HIS religion. OH BOY DID I REBEL against THAT in MY workplace! I went to HR and asked if it was a company policy that my attire be restricted like that and they said "absolutely not" and I showed them my business suit attire and it was approved and I got to wear my business suits with skirts at or above the knee and pantsuits if it was cold in Colorado as I deemed appropriate and he couldn't say a thing about it. It's time for people to stand up for theirselves! _________________________________________
jenfly00 0 #77 September 8, 2007 Quotewhat would have been more offensive to you (or her) to step off the a/c and ask her to wear something less revealing (which he did-only she didnt have any clothes with her-he didnt know that) or to just walk up and offer her a blanket and ask her to cover up? Cause that doesnt usually blow over too well. People know what they're wearing when they put it on. They're looking for attention. and in the written article, it says that she was in the jetway.. so...... again, i'm pretty darn sure she was off the a/c when he was talking to her. Option 3: Go about your business of serving bad food in a flying restaurant and not harrass the customers.----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it". I think we all know this girl was not wearing the skirt then like she was when she was on TV. Probably didn't have panties on either. Maybe she has an ugly pussy and she scared some little kid that was coming down the isle. I think that kids parents should sue her. That's the kind of thing that could scar a kid for life. I mean can you imagine going through life being scared of seeing your next pussy? What the hell is this world coming to. Think of the poor kids I say. ChasingBlueSky 0 #86 September 8, 2007 Quote edited to add: and yeah... i've had to ask girls to cover up or take a later flight as well... but see through tops without a bra underneath is pushing the envelope a little too much! I grew up around one of the larger airlines with my Dad working there for 46 years. They have always had a dress code for flights and in later years that dress code was listed on the dependent tickets (I had to wear a suit every time I traveled under my Dad's name) and then later on it was listed on tickets for everyone. Not where it is now in this age of print up your own tickets._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... VanillaSkyGirl 6 #87 September 8, 2007 QuoteYou people have got to remember this is a Hooters girl. They dress slutty or sexy on or off the job because they have the body and aren't afraid to show it. Maybe some people don't realize that there are appropriate and inappropriate times to wear certain outfits. I'm from Southern California. The only time that I've ever seen women wearing skirts that short are when they are walking to/from the beach and have a bikini underneath. I've usually only seen young teens or pre-teens wear those kind of skirts in more casual beach communities, like Ocean Beach in San Diego. In Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach, both areas where I used to spend much time in/live in, I haven't noticed those kind of outfits. People in these beach areas don't like to look like they are trying too hard. Living an active lifestyle is desired, and the healthy/hip look is considered more sexy. (One cannot be active, if he/she is worried that his/her privates are showing!) Also, I have never seen women dressed that way (skirts that show everything) to go to the doctor. Edited: I haven't personally seen girls wear skirts like this to the airport, either. Even to/from Costa Rica, the most I've seen is pretty summer dresses, but not skirts like this. Those are just my experiences, though.

willard 0 #95 September 9, 2007 I just watched the video. She is pissed because she was made the center of attention for a while on that flight. But isn't that why she wore a short skirt in the first place...to get attention?? If they had actually thrown her off i could see her getting pissed, but not after she was allowed to stay on. Her feeling uncomfortable was her own doing, not theirs.
