Wow. Talk about not even getting a fair trial. Got this sent to me in an email, I looked it up and it seemed like it was worth mentioning on here to get the word out. I don't know Eric personally but just can imagine if it would be me in his shoes.

Just thought I'd try to help get his story out there.

His friends have created a website to try and help free him here.

Here in Illinois we've had a bunch of folks on death row thanks to misconduct by police and prosecutors.

I recently had a cop falsify documents in a trial against me. He wrote down some things as evidence that I supposedly did when he and I know I didn't do it. Problem is his cop buddy will testify as witness and I don't have one so my lawyer plead it out for me.:| Granted I'm not going to go to jail because of it but still......

I wasn't sure whether to put this in SC or not so thanks to the mods for moving it. Sorry.....

Should police and prosecutors found guilty of misconduct that causes an individual to be found guilty and placed on death row be charged with attempted murder? What if the individual is later found to be innocent?

IMO, that would be an appropriate disincentive to police and prosecutor misconduct, but in fact a wrist slap was all that was administered.

And yes, a whole bunch of the condemned were eventually found to be innocent.
