The US have a long heritage of fighting proxy wars. The irony is it will support the very millitias that have been killing its sons and daughters for the last few years. When the US Gov is so tied up at home that the troops have to be pulled its the Saudi backed millitants that will be fighting a proxy war for the CIA.

They allow it too whether or not a direct order was given laying out the semantics. The U.S. allows client states a certain leeway and they will always try to push the boundaries.

One thing for certain is the Saudis won't fight, but the Iranians will. Which means we'll have to step in. I think this time around we should just kill them all and take the fucking oil.

Even better, but less likely, would be moving beyond needing oil, so we could tall the whole fucking ratrace to mix their oile with sand and eat it.
