You're sorta proving my point for me here. Are you denying my assertion or not? The question was NOT if a significant amount of WMD were found. Fox news viewers are likely to be better informed of the FACT that SOME were found. I understand that you want the question to mean something other than what it is. I think that the results of polls should never be reported without the EXACT wording of the question clearly included. So often the actual question is paraphrased/edited to cover up the intentional deception. A fine example was a poll result that was described as showing little support for SCOTUS nominee Clarence Thomas. What ws left out of the reporting of the poll result was the question, which started off by listing a bunch of allegations against him.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

You know perfectly well that the ancient unusable munitions that were found abandoned were NOT the WMDs that Bush, Powell, Rumsfeld and Cheney referred to in statements like "We know where they are" and "This is a mobile bioweapons lab".... I agree, but that was not the question supposedly posed to the Fox News viewers. The question asked, according to what Billvon posted, was very simple. The simple, correct answer was more often known by viewers of Fox News.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. billvon 3,119 #85 September 1, 2007 >Are you denying my assertion or not? Yes, I am. Weapons of mass destruction were NOT found. Just as if you found a distributor, a few tires and a differential lying on the ground, and claimed you found a car - you would be lying, even though you found parts of one. >I think that the results of polls should never be reported without the >EXACT wording of the question clearly included. "Since the war with Iraq ended, is it your impression that the US has or has not found Iraqi weapons of mass destruction?"

"Since the war with Iraq ended, is it your impression that the US has or has not found Iraqi weapons of mass destruction?" That is a really crappy analogy, and not at all helpful to understanding the issue. Would you be willing to be exposed to what was found? It certainly isn't as effective as it was originally, but I don't think it was determined to be safe, was it? The fact remains that Fox News viewers were much more likely to know the details of what was found.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. billvon 3,119 #87 September 2, 2007 >That is a really crappy analogy . . . Of course. Any analogy that indicates an error on your part is "crappy." >Would you be willing to be exposed to what was found? Not at all! I am certain the degraded material is still quite nasty. But then again, if you have a pool, you have chemicals that are just as dangerous (and have in fact been used in chemical attacks in Iraq.) I suspect that if you claimed your neighbor had WMD's people would laugh at you, just as people laugh at the FOX viewers who think we really DID find WMD's in Iraq. But feel free to claim either one. I'll go with our own weapons inspectors over FOX.

lawrocket 3 #92 September 7, 2007 Update!!! Daniel Tsu paid a couple million in bail money and promised to appear in court in Frisco on Wednesday, but skipped out. He was to ask that his bail be reduced, and he was supposed to turn over his passport. But he didn't show and his bail was forfeited. He was arrested last night at a hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he is recovering from an unspecified illness - apparently a bout of delirium is part of it. I just thought I'd add that - when you are on the lam, don't go doing things that bring national attention to yourself. Then you should avoid having acute health attacks on public transportation. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2007/09/07/MN9OS10B5.DTL&feed=rss.news My wife is hotter than your wife.
