Somehow I don't think that if the next President has an 'R' next to his name, you won't be singing that tune. Closest to my opinions is Ducan Hunter. Little change he will get the nod however Double negative aside, I wouldn't bet on what I think you're trying to say. From what I've read on the candidates so far, the 'R' party is as likely as the 'D' party to put forward a much better nominee than GWB. It's almost a slam-dunk either way. According to this survey, the closest candidate to my positions is a 'D' (Obama), followed by a 'G' (Augustson), an 'L' (McManigal), and an 'R' (Paul). Note that 'R' comes before all the other 'D's. rushmc 23 #27 August 14, 2007 Quote Quote No, no ills, just not your guy. Sad you have to insult when you side looses when the country is what we should all be cheering for I do cheer for our country, very much so, as that's what side I'm on (I didn't vote for Kerry either). But yes, you're unfortunately right; Bush has been kicking the shit out of "my side" for some time now. What's sad is the same people who voted for him in the last two elections will be voting again in the next. On a positive note, the nominees of both major parties are likely to be an improvement over this guy, so either way the punishment "my side" is taking should decrease. Blues, Dave I just want to say I like this post of yours. No name calling of anyblody and straight forward positon replys and comments. I tend (sometimes intentionally) to respond in the same fashion ( I percieve) of the post I just read. With this type of post we could have a great conversationNice! thanks"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." mnealtx 0 #30 August 14, 2007 Harry Reid questions the timing. Quote “I question the timing,” said Harry Reid. “We’ve seen this time and again with this Administration, whether announcing dramatic so- called ‘terror’ arrests to deflect attention from the Ned Lamont primary victory, flying planes into the World Trade Center to distract from a draconian decision on stem cell lines, or steering hurricane Katrina directly into New Orleans to distract from whatever that was supposed to be distracting from, Rove is the dark master of this kind of political legerdemain.” Anyway...
