Hope in many things. He gives me a hope there is a purpose for life, justice for the downtrodden, hope to see my late parents again, hope that my pain wasn't in vain. I could go on and on.

No, I love life! Even in my trials I have seen how God can take what I deemed as bad and helped me use it for good.

Example: My finances as a pastor were dwindling and I needed to secure more income to support my family. I became a behavior therapist for a 6th & 7th grade center. There I learned a lot about autism and kids with asperger's syndrome. I realized my 20 year old son had AS, and I had him tested and sure enough he does. So much that he now receives disability insurance. Without that "problem" I would most likely never discovered his disability. It also gave me a bigger purpose .. to be an advocate for kids I went back and got another Masters degree and now I work with kids dealing with depression, anxiety, addictions, disabilities, and so on.

To me, God delivered the hope I now have.

God didn't deliver you anything. You did what you had to do. If there really was a god out there looking after you, then why would he look after you and not all the people in the world starving to death? Why are you more special then they are? I will tell you why. There is no god. You benefited from your own hard work and took advantage of the opportunities available. Anything else is superstition.

Want the honest truth? Will you believe me?

I am a loving loyal boyfriend. I take care of the people I love. I respect them. I dont cheat. I am honest and forward. I also have been known to cook, clean and Im house broken.

If she dated a guy like me and he made her happy, then I would be happy for her/them. I just would make sure she is on birth control.

One thing is for certain, God will not be found in this bantering. If you are ever to find Him you have to start by looking with in yourself, if that is still possible. If you are human and honest there is a gaping spiritual need rattling around inside your head. Sure it is easy enough to deny but it is still there, and will make itself known form time to time . A personal relationship with God is the only solution.
