Burka - Religous right or health hazard

Recommended Posts

This post is a bit of a rant having nearly been injured twice in a 1 week by Burka's!

Instance 1 - woman crosses road about 50 meters from a pedestrian crossing, she didn't look and just plodded across the road with no visibility and not a care in the world. Fortunately my brakes were quite good, but I don't like emergency stopping the bike.

2 - Woman with the full kit and looking out of her little slit driving out of the local panel beaters (maybe thats a hint) nearly knocked me off the bike.

Well I am pretty peaved by it right now and I doubt the local coppers would let any of us drive around with full face masks on in our cars without someone being charged with dangerous driving sooner or later - why the exemption? At least in islamic countries women are not allowed to drive so it isn't a factor.

Think it has more to do with the fact that shes a woman driving a car:D

But on a serious side I'd like to see them banned in public like the hijab is in Turkey. Its not a Islamic requirement its a Saudi custom, so lets get rid of it.

Well at least they are protected from those aweful sun rays. B|

On a more serious note ... people (who most likely are muslim women) who wear Burkas should not be allowed to wear the Burka while driving a motorized vehicle. Hajabs aren't an issue, but how could anyone support the right to drive while wearing a Burka. It's nothing than FUBAR to allow them while driving.

That's nothing. They are trying to convince people that it's ok to get your drivers license and passport, you know PHOTO IDs, while wearing the full burlap bag.

I can't even pick a place to start when thinking about how ridiculous this is.

Hey!>:(
The hijab can be very attractive, depending on how it is worn!:)

I think Europe should simply deport its Muslim populations back to the Muslim sewer states of their choosing, where they can blow themselves up, kill each other, and treat their women like livestock to their hearts' content. There's not a reason on earth to tolerate one inch of their bullshit.

Your cultures are at stake, so what the fuck will you finally do about it ?
