sundevil777 102 #4 July 11, 2007 I like the shirt. He's very appealing due to his lack of political correctness. An example is that he's not afraid to say he would give a full pardon to Libby. People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

I guess that would include winning the primaries huh? Well anyways, if you do believe that, are you going to support him in his bid for the presidency? DSE 5 #11 July 11, 2007 QuoteLibs and dems will say it was rigged again. Just like the last two times I voted liberal last election because of Bush and his cronies. I might well vote conservative again because of Thompson. Dem's got nothing to run this time around but with options like Mitt Romney in the race, the conservative options scare me almost as much. BTW, search my old posts. Like others, I suggested that Thompson will win the primary and quite likely the election. Florida and Ohio were rigged. I think everyone on both sides realizes that. If nothing else, Bush should have demanded an accounting; it would have removed the spectre of his lack of ethics. C'mon...voting twisted up badly in the state where your own brother is governor but everything is above-board? Coincidence? Of course not.
NCclimber 0 #12 July 11, 2007 QuoteFlorida and Ohio were rigged. I think everyone on both sides realizes that. If you say so. What evidence is there of election fraud in Florida? How about a mainstream source on the subject?
DSE 5 #13 July 11, 2007 Great hijack, but I'll play: One Two Three Four Five Six Seven Eight Nine Ten If nothing else, your post reminds me of the sort of people I'd be sharing my vote with should I return to conservative voting. Damn, I can't believe I was actually considering going back to my voting record of 25 years. Whew! Thanks for saving me. Believe it or not, there are somewhere in this great land, conservative voters that aren't part of a very fucked up religious agenda. They're actually humans capable of thought without Pat Robertson's input.

billvon 3,173 #15 July 11, 2007 >Well anyways, if you do believe that, are you going to support him in his > bid for the presidency? Nope. Very strict anti-abortionist, anti-gay-rights, wants to ban burning the flag, generally votes to reduce education funding. He wants to end solar/wind power funding, end fuel economy regulations, and drill ANWR as fast as possible. He will stay in Iraq forever until we "win." But I have no doubt that he will garner the support of most of the GOP. The only think the GOP likes better than slamming the "clueless liberal nutjobs" in Hollywood is electing those same Hollywood people to high offices when they are republicans. They see them on the TV, don't you know.
NCclimber 0 #16 July 11, 2007 Quote Great hijack, but I'll play: One Two Three. I only checked out the first three. None showed proof of the Republicans getting illegal votes and stealing the election. 1 - The Volusian error was caught and remedied on election night. 2 - Oh look. Ballot tampering by a Democrat 3 - Even if Feeney tried to rig the vote, there's no evidence of it occurring. You keep hanging on to your conspiracy theories and telling yourself you know better, implying I'm blind because I ask for actual proof. Did you know the collapse of the Twin Towers was actually a controlled demolition? It's true. Google it.

freethefly 6 #24 July 11, 2007 Hell, even Nixon thought Thompson was "Dumb as Hell". http://rawstory.com/showarticle.php?src=http%3A%2F%2Fnews.yahoo.com%2Fs%2Fap%2F20070707%2Fap_on_el_pr%2Fthompson_watergate The last thing this country needs is another conservative bent on holding this country back and waging wars to promote their mindless agenda. In the last 7 years not one bit of progress has been made. Social security issues have not been taken care of. The healthcare system is in shambles. The housing market is a mess. The job market is pitiful (unless you call low paying, no benefit jobs progress). Americans are getting their bodies blown to hell in a country that did not attack us because some idiot in the white house lied to push his personal agenda. Personal freedoms are being pushed aside so that this government can keep a watchful eye on whomever they please. We have a whitehouse that feels that it does not have to answer to the American people for its actions. The conservative agenda is much like that of the Taliban. No progress only an iron fist rule. It seems some people are fine with living in a police state. That is untill they get caught doing what they preach against."...And once you're gone, you can't come back When you're out of the blue and into the black." funjumper101 15 #25 July 11, 2007 Quote I like the shirt. He's very appealing due to his lack of political correctness. An example is that he's not afraid to say he would give a full pardon to Libby. Can you please explain how you could make a connection between "lack of political correctness" and being in favor of pardoning a convicted serial perjurer? What Fred Thompson has shown is that he is completely unqualified to be a public official of any kind whatsoever. Libby was tried, convicted and sentenced in accordance with the laws of the land. To condone pardoning Libby shows utter contempt for the USA, the Constitution, and the rule of law. To even consider voting for a douchebag like Thompson is pretty pathetic, even for righties. Perjury is a high crime against our system of law. To condone perjury in any way is completely against everything that America stands for. Have you no shame? No sense of right and wrong? The USA is in a world of hurt because the righties have been fucking things up since Reagan was elected. The war on the middle class has been wildly successful. The Republicans are very proud of their success.
