Guest #1 July 9, 2007 MediaDefender, a company that shills as an MPAA enforcer, was recently shown to have created a new Torrent site that allegedy snooped personal computers and reported contents back to them. The company denies the allegations. Even if what the company says is true, it makes one wonder what else they're cooking up. Story here. sundevil777 102 #2 July 9, 2007 If the allegations are true, is any of it illegal, or just unethical/embarrassing? I think spyware should be illegal. What is your opinion of the company if they did everything except the snooping? Setting up a fake download site to catch users making illegal downloads sounds like a typical police type tactic.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired.
