christelsabine 1 #1 June 6, 2007 Hi peeps, your fearless leader just arrived at that mystic and hidden place of Heiligendamm (somewhere in the nowhere of Germany) to meet our chancellor Dr. Merkel - and of course some others, too. F. e. Tony the Brit ... etc. Seems not to be that important to you guys, right? Gawain 0 #4 June 6, 2007 We're not seeing much of how the Europeans are reporting the matter. The President's trip there has had plenty of coverage from a US perspective. I know there have been riots/demonstrations, etc. The same happens at every G8 summit. What's new from the European view?So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! There's not only anarchists filling news papers' front pages, a bit more is available every day (latest after first discussions with GWB etc. took place). Just have a closer look. Question is NOT what I have to say on that - as by chance I live here, read/receive relevant news every day (so feel well informed) - question was adressed to the rest of the world outside my little country dudeist skydiver # 3105

Dorbie I sure don't want to exercise my right of free speech and voice my opinion on the G8 subject as a american and be labeled as a anarchist, conspiracy nut, commie lover, hippie, traitor or any of that bad shit. I'll keep my opinion on the "summit" to my self. Repeat after me: GW is the best president we ever had. Any decisions he makes are fine with us. Andrewwhyte 1 #9 June 7, 2007 I just saw a news story that showed the police beating up some clowns. That was ok, but then it got really good and they showed the cops beating up mimes! I mean,... how good is that?

I can imagine how a mime would silently mimic "pain" during a performance. But what does a mime do when he experiences real pain? Does he take it silently, or does he scream outloud like a baby?
