CBS Survivor Fiji

Recommended Posts

Just got the chance to see the last episode of the Fiji Survivor and that Dreams was a BS artist that did not deserve the truck. Even though he knew he would not go with his word.

typical.

Well at least Earl got the Bucks!! and for Yue Man I sure hope that he gets another better truck and that Dreams has a wreck and totals the thing.

Just my two cents on this issue,,,,,,,

I guess I'm a bit naive. I was happy to see Dreamz win the immunity because I really thought he was going to keep his word and thought it would be cool to see him hand it over. I found it disappointing that Jeff Probst kept making him out to be a good guy. He may have grown up poor and uneducated, but he's not stupid. He's a con.

As for Yau-Man, I hope he gets a chance at something else like a truck or even a million like Rupert did.

Yau and Earl got a bit sloppy/lazy at the end, presuming they had it.

At 5, they should have use Boo to break up the Cassandra/Dreamz duo, and finished off the 2nd half in the final challenge.

Failing that, Yau's best gambit at the end would be to pledge to take out Cassandra instead. Dreamz would have to cut her, but could stay in, and keep 'his honor'. I don't think Yau would have succeeded in getting this, but he could have tried.

Dreams definitely should have gone before Boo. He was flipping between alliances from the very first day, and it was so obvious he couldn't be trusted. He outlived his usefullness as soon as Edgardo was voted off and the other alliance was broken. Yau Man is a class act, though. He told Dreams straight up- "My bad, my mistake. Keep the truck, its cool!"

Funny, though- I didn't realize what a freak Boo was until the final tribal counsel when he was getting on Dreams for being a bad Christian! Everyone disliked him and I didn't understand why!

Re: Dreamz

First of all, I hate fake names like that. Does he think he's some hot rap "musician" or something?

If he had kept his word to Yauman, yeah, he might have been voted off. But he would have gone away with his head held high, and his integrity intact. He would have become known as the man whose word and honor are worth more than a million bucks. And that would have made him a popular celebrity, and probably millions more in commercial endorsements, after the show.

But instead he chose to make selfish decisions like a common street punk, looking out only for himself, stabbing friends in the back, and not caring about things like honor or integrity. So instead, he'll forever be known by tens of millions of Americans, as someone who is a liar and a cheat, with no honor or integrity. No one will ever trust him again, for anything.

Maybe the street punks back home will think he's cool, driving around in his fancy pickup truck, from a deal which he didn't honor. But they're the only ones, and they don't count for squat.

I predict that within a year he'll blow all his prize winnings, and be back on the street as a common punk once again, where he belongs.

John,

I totally agree with you 100 percent on this as he has no Honor and would love to hear soon that he is sitting in some State or Fed pen for a while.

Just proves that if you make a word live up to it.

I totally agree. The guy annoyed me from the first day, but at the end (and I know a lot of this is editing) by not keeping his word, he guaranteed Earl the million and made himself look like a collassal jackass! If he'd kept his word, he might have been able to extend and profit from his 15 minutes a little bit longer. Now, at best he's remembered as an idiot, but more likely just a greedy stupid liar! I hope he "forgets" to pay the taxes on the truck he "won" and ends up in a cell next to Richard Hatch!
