TrophyHusband 0 #1 April 18, 2007 at one time while watching the coverage, the report was that they had a shooter in custody. along with this report, was a picture of an asian man on his stomach with a cop on top of him putting on handcuffs. this was the report for at least a half hour and at the time it was unclear how many shooters there were. i ran some errands and was surprised when i returned home to find that the shooter had shot himself. it didn't really bother me until the next day when it was released that the shooter was asian. what the hell is going on? i haven't heard anything about this. did anyone else see what i saw? was i hallucinating? Apparently and this is what i have pieced together is that the guy they had in custody was the Boyfriend of the girl that was shot in the dorm, and they were thinking that the boy friend shot the Girlfriend and the RA becuase of something going on. Then they found out that he was innocent. He has since gone on record as saying that he is not at all upset about what they did or the out come of it. I saw that picture and they even had it at the head of an article that read that the shooter was being identified. It was pretty poor placement since by that time it was widely publicised that the shooter killed himself. Zing 2 #7 April 18, 2007 I saw a report, with video, of an Asian-appearing person in custody, on the ground in handcuffs. VTcnix 0 #8 April 19, 2007 that guy was a photographer for our school newspaper... he got word that something was happening in Norris and was running toward it. The police apprehended him because naturally it looked suspiciuos. There was a report at about 11:30-12pm that the perpetrator was in custody,.. I think that this information came from an untelevised press conference...
