Musharraf is hardly a disinterested source.
I'd like to see some independent verification, especially of casualties.
I'd also like to see Musharraf demosntrate that there are not pockets of anarchal badlands in Pakistan where Al Quaeda can operate.

If you had ever been to Pakistan you'd know that that is imposible. No government there could garentee that. But your right he isn't a disinterested party seeing as Al Q have tried to kill him on several occassions he is very much an interested party.

If I ran an isolated country and wanted some good press, I'd round up 300 unfortunate losers, machine gun them, then announce that my government was prosecuting the WaR No TeRrOr {cue ominous music}.
