I have also worked at UPS loading and unloading trailers, package cars, and aircraft. I can assure you there is no similarity between carrying a few suitcases to a private plane and loading the cargo hold of a jet airliner. Just to keep the thread on topic, I am opposed to any privatization of ATC. The system isn't perfect, but placing it under control of the private sector would be a huge setback. The USA has the BEST aviation system in the world. Why we would want to emulate Europe in terms of the way the system is run is a complete mystery ("follow the money", I expect).
