Imagine if somebody wrote a BLOG suggesting that swoop canopies weren't really appropriate for the average skydiver doing RW.

That responsibility being, presumably, to write about his opinions as a hunter? And what did he do, he wrote his opinion that people should use hunting rifles to go hunting. Call him a purist if you will. He never even hinted at suggesting that people should not be allowed to own assault rifles - he just said it would be nice if they did not hunt with them. 2nd Amendment violation my arse.
At the end of the day, this episode is making some people look like petulant children throwing their toys out of the pram - and Zumbo isn't one of them.
