Fair enough - I was speaking/texting to a guy I know a few months back about another guy who killed himself, by apparantly cutting his risers at a DZ not far from me. Anyway, I mentioned the simple statement of; 'how I could think of a lot better ways to top myself.'

The reply:

"Yes, me too - I'd cut myself in half with a bandsaw."

Has got to be over 50% even including coalition casualties. The place is a meat grinder and most of the fatalities are civilians who are being actively targeted by sectarian groups (dunno what you categorize as an insurgent these days, I'm including anyone on either side of the sectarian violence). This question is a no-brainer, you've got bombs going off in public places on a daily basis killing 60+ civilians.
