dorbie 0 #1 February 14, 2007 Watch this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nw6LBbeXTww&mode=related&search= It tells a story. P.S. this may be a clip of a clip shown in Comedy Central, so I guess the audio could be doctored but it sounds genuine. Did anyone see the original? vortexring 0 #2 February 14, 2007 Like a political jack-a-nory. Guess that's his campaign over and done with..... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
dorbie 0 #3 February 14, 2007 I don't think so, not on the left. It's telling that the right is speculating they'll have a problem with a Mormon, or at least the media is speculating that the right will have a problem, I'm not sure how real this is. I think that Fox quote is pretty real though.

It may have escaped your attention but I'm not into slamming conservatives. Make some sense and make a point you can stake a claim to instead of talking in riddles. If someone goes around acting like a bogoted tool don't be too surprised if they're called a bigoted tool.
rushmc 23 #10 February 14, 2007 You posted the title not I. Did you not claim that this video smells of bigotry? It was predicted today that this claim would be made. Unless I misread your post, you did just that. My point is right on. You called them bigots because of the video. Had the video been made by a liberal would you have made the same claim?? I guess political satire only works from one side"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." It's more funny than anything else. Sort of like someone saying "we just discovered George Bush isn't very smart, and Dick Cheney sneers a lot. This is HUGE NEWS! And we have the exclusive scoop here on Action McNews!"

I am not the one that placed the title to the thread."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Gawain 0 #17 February 15, 2007 About the only part of Fox News Channel I like is Brit Hume. The morning show is a little over the top for me. Steve Ducy (the guy in your link) is dramatic, but not a bigot, the Fox AM show does pretty good interviews. Though I prefer watching CNN in the morning (Soledad O'Brien and Miles O'Brien), their interviews aren't too great. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! It bothers me that I've seen some speculation from the "conservative right" or "evangelical right" that they may have problems with him due to his religious beliefs. This "foundation" of the right is cracking under its own self-righteousness. Gov. Romney seems to have a solid platform, and if I were to project something right now: I think that a Romney/McCain ticket (assuming that they can win 1-2 in the caucuses) would be a killer team. McCain would be a good VP, and a master as President of the Senate. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! We probably won't see McCain in the VP role -- he stated in the 2004 campaign that he would turn down such an offer. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
