Carry methods

Recommended Posts

For those of us that carry concealed, I was wondering what methods of carry you prefer, whether you change carry for different situations, what you've heard or decided to stay away from, etc.

Also, I'm in the holster market, so suggestions there (pro or con)would be appreciated. one possibility

(I am so damn sick of online shopping and the silly info floating on "shooter" pages)

:P

I thought civil conversations of a non political nature concerning guns were allowed in the bonfire.

I'm a fan of the Milt Sparks Versa-Max 2 (drill down from www.miltsparks.com). Solid IWB and the capability to be 'tuckable' for easier concealment w/o a dedicated cover garment.

Just about anything by Lou Alessi is good, too.. his GWH looks pretty nice.

I use their 1911 and Springfield XD IWB holster, they work great. They are tuckable if need be, hold the weapon very secure, and I can easily conceal my full size 1911 with only shorts and a T-shirt if need be. I carry pretty much every day, never had a problem with them. It's a little late now, but between Thanksgiving and Christmas they usually have about a 25% off sale, too. Any other questions, feel free to ask.
