Used to be called "Streaking"

Recommended Posts

Remember "Streaking?" It ended with a laugh when I was in high school. Good thing the cop with a twitchy finger and a typical cop boner only used his taser...

actually that is fairly normal, at least for streaking at large 'public' events where you can expect to be grappled :)

how about 'let him go'? identify him and pick him up at home?:S not exactly a high priority offense.. and tasers HAVE killed.

shows a basic lack of training and awareness on the part of the officer, unfortunately the trend seems to be more common of late...[:/]

First time I've heard of a streaker greasing up to evade capture. Seems like he was up for going the distance.

Hmm... wrestle some oiled up freak into submission or tazer him? Easy call to make if you ask me.

I'm not sure what "going the distance" means, but if it means streaking back to the gym to shower and change, then why tackle OR tazer the kid?

Hmm...you must be a cop? Seems to me that only another cop would have such an extreme attitude about such a silly little thing.
My reality and yours are quite different.

"The officer, normally assigned to a middle school, did not recognize Killian as a student"

and I bet the whole "excuse me", may I see your student ID? question wouldn't work - where would Killian have kept the ID?

My favorite part of the article is that he was charged with "inducing panic".

Doesn't surprise me. I lived in Westerville Ohio for 2 years - 9th and 10th grade. I went to that high school (my brother went to the middle school next door).

I moved there from San Francisco (complete with dyed hair and safety pins) and was immediately labeled a 'devil worshipper'. :SB|
