sundevil777 102 #4 January 27, 2007 I don't understand how it is treason to talk about a person being a CIA agent when it isn't a secret at all, and they aren't working undercover. QuoteAfter Joe Wilson went public in 2003 about the trip to Niger, senior WH officials, trying to discredit Wilson's findings, told reporters that Wilson's wife, who worked at the CIA, was the one who suggested the Niger mission for her husband. I have read about how it has become clear that this is quite true - she did recommend him. It has also been recently reported that Joe Wilson and his wife (Plame, the not-so-secret CIA agent) had an agenda he wanted to support - discrediting Bush. There was no violation of the agents cover, and it turns out that what was said to discredit Wilson's findings is true. So, now that the only charges left are related to perjury which is hard to distinguish from bad memory, how is this different from Ken Starr's much maligned prosecution of Clinton? Where does treason enter this episode?People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Oh, I see, thanks for the clarification/details. How could I possibly disagree? Clinton was the best at the "politics of personal destruction" - a phrase he made popular, despite the fact that he was the one doing so much of it. Heck, you didn't even have to be a political adversary, as in the travel office scandal for which Hillary deserves so much credit.
