There are many African americans and I would assume that the vast majortiy of these have come from the historic slave trade in America? from watching the media it seems it is cooler to be black than white (eg, justing timberlake talking like a Negro etc.) it is prevalant in the entertainment industry. Dr dre made the most money 'IN ENTERTAINMENT' a couple of years ago and i would think it was not only black people buying the albums?, so it seems it is cool to be black. EG, wiggas (white niggas) 'tommy hilfiger' was invented to cater for this market! That doesn't take away from the fact of how all the african americans came to be. Racism is still abundant in certain areas and education is needed to rid this disease.
