She could never do worse than the last two presidents.. both of them seem to be thinking with their little heads....for different reasons... one because he is a sexual idiot.. the other because he has to prove his is bigger than daddies or Sadaams. livendive 8 #8 January 22, 2007 Two things have to happen before I'd vote for Hillary. 1 - She has to win the nomination. 2 - The Republicans have to nominate an absolute moron for the third consecutive election. I don't think the GOP can find someone else as bad as GWB, so Hillary is highly unlikely to get my vote. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" Swoopyswoop 0 #12 January 23, 2007 Let me ask you guys a question, do you really think that the united states is ready for a female president? And dont turn this into a male female thing because thats not what I am asking. I personally feel like the majority of americans arent ready for that kind of leadership. She certainly wont get my vote just because of her BS mudslinging tactics and her fine ability of backstabbing "when I die, I want to go like my grandfather while im sleeping, not like the passengers riding in the car with me Swoopster A.S.S. #6 Future T.S.S holder

Hopefully it's based on qualifications and not stupid cosmetic things (for or against). I won't vote for a male, female, neither, etc, or someone with both parts - if they show equivalent mudslinging tactics and backstabbing. Right now, the sock puppet is winning. ... I don't think people care much any more what sex their leaders are. >And dont turn this into a male female thing because thats not what I >am asking. That is exactly what you are asking. And sadly, that will be one of the things in her favor - the minority of people who feel a woman cannot handle being president will be held up as an example of why all people who oppose her are sexists. (Some certainly are, but they are far from a majority.)

billvon 3,120 #16 January 23, 2007 >Response - "You are such a sexist pig - why won't your people > evolve, look at how open minded I am" Exactly. And since there _will_ be a few sexists out there, they can follow that up with "and you're just like Joe Sexist." (Or, if posted here, something like "why don't you and your best friend Joe Sexist go and beat up some women?")

(Or, if posted here, something like "why don't you and your best friend Joe Sexist go and beat up some women?") fortunately, they cancel each other out at the polls. Joe Sexist can vote against a woman and JoAnn Wantsacause can vote for the woman - and neither of them have to bother with the silly little effort of even finding out what her platform is about. ... DaVinci 0 #18 January 23, 2007 QuoteLet me ask you guys a question, do you really think that the united states is ready for a female president? It really does not matter. We are going to have people who don't vote for her since she is female, but we will have people who vote for her because she is female. Just like we are going to have people vote for her since she is a Clinton, just like others will not since she is a Clinton. Or that she is a Democrat will be enough, just like being a Republican is enough for others. I personally think she is the last person I would vote for due to several issues mainly her opinions on several things. But some are going to vote based on the litmus test on that she is female, a democrat, and a Clinton.
