SpeedRacer 1 #1 January 21, 2007 Well, we just passed January 20, 2007. Bush's last day will be Jan 20, 2009. Can we hold out til then? Will Bush start any more wars? Will he fuck things up worse than they are now, or will things calm down or stay about the same? Will the next president be able to/inclined to undo at least some of the damage that's been done?? Amazon 7 #3 January 21, 2007 More wars... more corporate welfare for his buddies.. and a large attack on American Soil by terrorists that COULD have been stopped but they will not stop it for political advantage. Martial Law will be declared and the Administration will suspend the Constitution for the good of the American people. Congress will be sent home. Welcome to The BushReich. tonyhays 86 #4 January 22, 2007 Pessimistic, much??? I seriously doubt he is going to ignore the 22nd amendment. My guess is that if things continue on the current trend, he will gladly leave office with his tail tucked between his legs.“That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”

SpeedRacer 1 #6 January 22, 2007 I think some of you are going WAAY too far with this stuff. Bush sucks, but I still think he will leave office at the usual time. Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------

King George has thumbed his nose at the constitution and international conventions for 6 years,, what makes you think he is going to stop anytime soon. Zenister 0 #9 January 22, 2007 i think you over estimate the amount of actual support he has in the military. Foreign wars are a FAR cry from enforcing Martial Law on US soil.. in fact every Military Members oath puts the CONSTITUTION first, there would be internal warfare inside the military structure before such an illegal order was ever followed.____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. Can you please explain the logic and reasoning behind your statements? (Why would the government allow a terrorist act to be carried out? Why would the government declare martial law? How would the individuals making these decisions be affected? ...)"That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
SpeedRacer 1 #11 January 22, 2007 It's interesting. Some of the Clinton-haters during the '90s were predicting that Clinton would pull something so as not to leave office in 2000. Now some of the Bush-haters are doing the same thing. Does zeal for a political side have to overcome logical & proportional thinking?? Can't we all just come back down to Earth here, & discuss more RATIONAL predictions? rehmwa 2 #14 January 22, 2007 Quote...you know... He does have a brother... That would be a completely different individual(s). Only monarchies and aristocracies have some screwed up belief in genetic family lines driving leadership dispositions. Think of most pairs of brothers you know - can you think of two individuals more different from each other? ... Butters 0 #15 January 22, 2007 George Bush will not be able to run for President since he has served eight years. However, if George Bush cloned himself, then his clone could run for President. Is this reason enough to stop cloning? "That looks dangerous." Leopold Stotch
