jenfly00 0 #26 January 5, 2007 QuoteQuoteNever never never trust a government to tell you the truth. what if Government A tells you that Government B lies a lot - or even if they admit they lie a lot themselves it's so confusing An archaeologist discovered a temple with three gigantic statues guarding the entrance. To be allowed into the temple, he must identify each of the three gods. The God of Truth always tells the truth. The God of Falsehood always lies. The God of Diplomacy can tell the truth or lie. He asked the god on the left, "Who stands next to you?" "The God of Truth," was the reply. He asked the god in the middle, "Who are you?" "The God of Diplomacy," was the reply. He asked the god on the right, "Who stands next to you?" "The God of Falsehood," was the reply. The archeologist immediately identitied the three gods. Can you?----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
dorbie 0 #27 January 6, 2007 Too Easy, but I won't spoil. I prefer the puzzle of two jailors guarding the prison exits one leading to the execution chamber & the other leading to freedom. One is guarding the left exit and the other is guarding the right, one always lies the other always tells the truth. You don't know which jailor is honest and you must determine which exit leads to freedom. You have one question before you must choose a door, what do you ask and which jailor do you ask it of? Hehe, love these! I can pick that door with only one guard. ----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".

All the evidence shows that it is, just like France's was under Nazi occupation, just like Poland's was under USSR occupation, just like Lebanon's was under Syrian occupation.... I will give that governments take time to establish themselves as we are seeing in Iraq but, you premise the question using the word "occupation" Sorry, I know that is what you want to call it (because it supports your blame america first position) that is not what is going on there. Iraq law, courts and lawyers were used in the prosicution and execution despite your position."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Don't ya just love these? Truth is obviously not on the left, or he'd be lying about who is next to him. Truth is not in the middle, or he'd be lying about who he is. Truth is on the right, therefore, the god next to truth is falsehood, as stated by truth. That leaves only the left for diplomacy.----------------------- "O brave new world that has such people in it".
