I was all ready to try to be open-minded and see if I could support a candidate based on the build-up and you gotta go and demean me for it. Heck that build up alone was enough to make me think that finally the "Knight in Shining Armor Candidate" had arrived to save us all. This is what a person who supports a side, party, group,etc that is considered undesireable says. It's a way to distribute and dillute the dislike. To that I say, no thanks, your party gets the all teh credit for their doings and they can savour in the rewards..... fewer representatives in government. I bet the Dems were saying the same when they were run out after the LBJ era. Point is, few like your party's moves and they will go extinct until they change or until the other side gets tired of the Dems. This concept of, "they all do it" is overblown. There may be some connections as with NAFTA, Bush Sr started it, Congreess loved it and Clinton signed it, but as far as social programs, healthcare and taxes for or not for the rich, well, I'd love to see you draw a, "they all do it" conncetion. Kinda like who ever has the nicest car, they might say, "It's cool to have a Z06 Vettee." The guys with lesser cars say, "Who cares, a car is a car." When you have good stuff you brag, when you don't you minimize.
