Should women serve in combat?

Recommended Posts

I agree.

Just trying to point out that in both sexes there are those with the ability and those who don't have the ability.

The difficulty is establishing what those abilities are and at what level. In the future, we might get to a point where the ability to keep your sexual cravings in check is included as well.

Agreed, agreed - and that is a self-discipline and impulse-control problem, for both sexes. Any mature individual that says "I couldn't help myself" in that regard either has some sort of psychological problem or is lying through their teeth.

There's still a few of us left that open doors, etc... but we're a dying breed. What the hell happened to common courtesy, anyway??

PSSSST... we were talking about combat....:D:D:ph34r:

'Twas an offshoot... you mentioned chivalry being dead.

As for the lady/gentleman issue... I don't necessarily agree. I recall reading some account about how soft-spoken and polite Audie Murphy was.. I don't anyone would say he wasn't a warrior...

This afternoon actually, except its the new kind of jousting, you drink a pint of beer, balance your lance on your head and spin around ten times and then get kicked in the nuts before your joust. Plus it's all done at Hooters now:P
