Donald Trump Versus Rosie O'Donnell

She's always got something to bitch about - something nasty to say. She may be right, but her point was lost in vitriol and hatred.

Sort of like she's anti-gun but made sure her bodyguard could and does carry a gun?

People like that, regardless of political convictions, are pretty much worthless. There's not much worst then being a liar and two faced.

Pretty much what I said, even b4 reading this. She's nasty.

Rosie is a putz. Trump at least produces something worthwhile. Rosie just shoots her fat mouth off.

Trump is not there to be a moral role model. He never applied for that job.

Rosie is mostly a professional shit-stirrer

I doubt if she'll last long on The Veiw. I've tuned in a couple of times since it's become The Rosy Show, but she just grates on my nerves. She is exactly what you see. A loud mouthed, obnoxious, unhappy lesbian.

Meridith Viera exuded femininity and sensuality, and was easy to watch. There is no comparison between the two.

I think Baba Wawa is feeling the heat. Lost a gem, inherited a c**t. Just like the today show, lost Katie who was OK at best, gained Meredith who is a gem. I can't believe that after the View dumps her yesterday that she will get a job anywhere. She is as hireable as OJ.

Trump said he spoke with Baba Wawa and she is very upset - I think she'll hook him up and dumo her. It will be fun watching Trump gloat after that happens.

where's the option of "They're both assholes with grossly inflated delusions about their own importance."

Agreed ... next story please ...

I'm with you both. Rosie thinks 'The View' is her show (and geeze..she will never STFU) and the Donald thinks the world revolves around him (he's an 'icon') Rosie actually WORKS for her money and has it.

Rules are rules. If she did something against the rules (like underaged drinking) she should lose her crown and make the rest of her life what she can make of it, like the rest of us.~~April

huh? He's a schmuck, but he works a hell of a lot harder than she does. Employs a lot more people. And actually produces something - housing, office space, golf courses. The last one is useless to me, but still far more useful than a talk show.

The whole thing is 3rd. grade. They're both acting like spoiled brats. Both of their egoes are as big as Rosies butt! I've never had any use for Rosie and I used to think Trump was an all-right guy but, Trump has lowered himself to Rosie's level... and that's pretty low.

Maybe she and Star Jones can team up. Their show can focus around the importance of modesty and grace.

Rosie is a time bomb. A few weeks ago, she made a huge deal about a slight by Kelly Rippa. She really created a tempest in a teacup, that forced Kelly to do a bunch of unnecessary grovelling. Then, about a week ago, she made a huge deal about how filthy stinking rich Barbara Walters was. When Barbara hinted that she should drop it, Rosie gave her an "Oh please! What's the big deal?" and continued on. According to my morning commute radio personalities, who provided me with such important stuff, Barbara was visibly pissed.

It's like Rosie feels completely entitled to insert herself in other people's business and (big "and" here) she thinks people who take exception are just being oversensitive.

It's like she was the fat ugly girl in high school who got picked on... and now, despite her fame, success and wealth, she's still that person, with a big ol' chip on her shoulder.

And now she's shocked that Price is Right wants zero to do with her, won't return her calls. She is dellusional.

Strongarming people doesn't work, esp TV's biggest people, her days are numbered. The old saying that bad publicity is good pub has limits, she's crossed so many lines I can;t wait to never hear anything about her. She may be planning a big apology now, but too little / too late.

Rosie seems like a very angry person and seems to have a bone to pick with the world. The Tom selleck thing was just a start. More unfortunate is her choice to atack peoples appearance. Not only did she attack Trump for his comb-over, she also criticised the lead singer of the cranberries for being too skinny once. I would frown upon anyone picking on rosie for her physical appearance (Trump proved to be no better than her when he insulted her appearance), so I do not see why it should be acceptable for her to do so.

Anyway her career is in the twilight so good riddance.
My biggest handicap is that sometimes the hole in the front of my head operates a tad bit faster than the grey matter contained within.

i don't care for Rosie one bit, Trump, he scored a few points in my book when he stood up against the powers that be demanding he remove a large American flag from his front yard. Anyone ever remember what came of that?

I jst went back and looked at the video clip, Trump took some shots at Rosie, it was pretty funny, he talked about how unattractive she was and that she was lucky to have a nice girlfriend and she had better hang on to her cause if she loses this one she's screwed. I got a kick out of it

What I think is equally entertaining is how his cut at her is "opinion" only, where her's are pretty much slanderous. He's never been personally bankrupt, though one of his businesses (one of his casinos) did reorg under chapter.

He said he might sue her for fun. :S
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh

And that's where she litigiously crossed the line, when she referred to his finances. If he can prove a fiscal damage by way of her spreading her untruth about his personal BK, he can get recompensed. This is why she is backing of.

Celebs are kinda fair game as calling them ugly or stupid, but when you lie about a substantive element of their life that is part of their livelihood, you are wide open for lawsuit.

that would be one of my theories why Trump would go through the
trouble suing a mediocre entertainer for talk that you can hear from
may others too:
- in order to have a high publicity forum where he can "correct"
public perception about bankrupcy and "clean" his "legacy".

Lock them in a rubber room together.

No.... let them have a Celebrity Death Match, MTV style. Remember those clay figure action matches? Funny as shit sometimes! :D:D:D

Trump is hardly a "moral authority' but Rosie's comments were way over the line..

to be honest i'm sickened by how much press this stupid tiff is getting.. the best suggestion yet is a Cage/Boxing match..

He's hoping all the press will drum up ratings for his show. He's pretty much run out of women to blame when the show tanks once and for all this year, unless he wants to trash his daughter in the media the same way he did Martha and Carolyn last year.
