I think (no matter what sport or dicipline) you'll always have these kind of people. I've seen people with ratings that couldnt fly next to a student if they wanted to...but in the end...the ratings do help sorting out the 'bad apples'. And can (if everybody finaly tries to see we're all after the same thing..'safe instruction') make everything a lot better...
