The "Web 2.0" is likely to have a far greater impact on social change than the crap and maneuvering that is going on in the middle east - at much less cost in blood and money. We're sinking into this quite gradually adjusting our dayly habits when dealing with information bit by bit, so there is no one attention getting shock and awe moment. But stepping back you look at an incredible ant hill of collective information and intellectual symbiosis rising with 6 Billion potantial contributers, and obvious far reaching social and political impact.
