akarunway 1 #1 December 10, 2006 Why we (the USA) would be spying on Princess Diana? http://observer.guardian.co.uk/uk_news/story/0,,1968664,00.htmlI hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. Gawain 0 #2 December 10, 2006 Well, she was active in trying to get relief and removal of mine fields all over the world. Perhaps there is something someone, somewhere hoped to glean from those conversations. They could've been polite and maybe used a channel to tell MI6 what the idea was... ...of course, I'm pulling at straws...So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! vortexring 0 #4 December 10, 2006 Sometimes it's easy to believe these public enquiries exist purely to squash any conspiracy theories. Such as the inquiry into David Kelly's death (remember him?) and what have you. Who really believes for a second that evidence would be found by British police pointing to the British Government being responsible for her murder? But there is certainly food for thought here. Deniable operations? Smoke without fire? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
