Gawain 0 #1 December 3, 2006 http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061202/ap_on_re_us/air_force_garage_doors I love this quote: Quote"It would have been nice not to have to get out of the car and open the door manually," said Dewey Rinehard, pointing out that the outage happened during the first cold snap of the year, with lows in the teens. and this: Quote"I never thought my garage door was a threat to national security," she said. Gee whiz...a bunch of whiners. First of all, the freq is within the domain of the Air Force, and second, it was only a test. A test of communications to first responders in the event of a threat. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! BIGUN 1,506 #2 December 3, 2006 Cool!! Where can I get one of them so I can drive around the neighborhood driving the Homeowners Association Council members nuts. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
matthewcline 0 #3 December 3, 2006 We need that test done here, permanently. The Officers Wives Association whined they didn't have garage door openers on ther garages and they wanted the Post to pay for the $300 to $500 systems for all the Officer Housing. The Junior Enlisted don't even have a garage. They are not whining for them buy they way. They are appreciative of car ports (if the yhave them), the relatively crime free environment and the fact we have NO home invasions, No gang wars, No stolen Vehicles and very FEW pet attacks (pit bulls etc.). I guess you see my touched nerve on the subject. MattAn Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
