lauras 0 #1 November 21, 2006 I'm not a big fan of shrill talking heads in general, but there's something about Nancy Grace's "advocacy journalism" that gives me the creeps. I know she was a fairly good prosecutor in her day, but building a show around prosecuting outside of the court system strikes me as inherently wrong. The Trenton Duckett case is big news here in central Florida: missing 2 year old boy, 20 year old mother, mother goes on Nancy Grace & gets grilled, shoots herself in the head the next day. Grace responds the next day by saying that guilt drove the mother to kill herself. Mother's family is now suing Grace & CNN. I don't know about these "justice" shows. Are they just creating & marketing mob mentality?
