It'll be interesting to see how that turns out. I'm also curious to know about the amount of traffic they have in those cities as well.

Sounds like it comes down to people being curtious to each other on the road to make that work. Not sure how well that would work in the US, atleast right now.

The article does not do justice to its topic. I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for two years. Roundabouts are a very effective traffic control mechanism.

No, speed limits still apply. Plus, the UK makes liberal use of those machines that take pictures of speeders.

I wonder how a similar policy affecting other areas of life would work.

for example, if some of the extra rules of our society were removed, would the government-coerced order be replaced voluntarily by the citizens becoming more responsible. considerate & civic-minded?
