I've thought about this and although I personaly would not wear a white poppy, I belive that its the act of rememberance thats most important.

Maybe the material is cheaper than red

I can't believe it though. Its a symbol to respect the fallen, nothing else. Although I agree, I'd rather they wore a white poppy than none at all as a protest.

I got mine at the weekend, damn funny it was as well. These two freezing looking Army cadets walking along a dark road when all of a sudden a car swerves to the cub the door is thrown open and a 6"4 Arab complexion bloke jumps out running towards them yelling "hey you" Poor buggers were whiter than one of those dodgy poppys. I bought a RED Poppy off them... Sorted, (Did they look relieved)
