StreetScooby 5 #2 November 7, 2006 It already is becoming a problem for US govt bond markets. The Chinese are taking steps to minimize their exposure to this security. The net impact may well be an increase in our country's interest rates. We are all engines of karma

Funny how we bragged we took down the soviets by way of causing them to outspend on military. Well, we have teh Chinese with a strong military and surplusses; who's fiscal ideologies are going to fall now. Perhaps Clinton's changes to the military were pretty smart, it got the debt increases halted.

This mass overpopulation of the world better stop soon or we are going to be in real trouble; can you say, 'carrying capacity?' 3 billion people can live damn well, no pollution issues, ect.... 5 billion people can;t live well and will eventually use up all the world's resources. I know, we can't live unless we have 6 DNA carbons of ourselves.... fuck that, I'm not that vein.

Frenchy68 0 #13 December 1, 2006 China has been dumping some of its ecxessive US$ reserve lately. Which tends not to help the US$. Although the EU is certainly hurting more so than the US is. Oh, and there is a big meeting scheduled in a couple of weeks between the Chinese and the US big wigs (SoT, etc...). Talking about unpegging the CN¥. RMB is selling like doughnuts right now...
