QuoteKerry did not flip flop. The correct term for him was 'pandering'.
Pandering? Wasn't that Foley?
This is a very confusing thread.

I think Foley was Pampering - in one sense
the Rodents of Unusual Size?..... I don't think they exist

I don't have it and I don't now that there is one, but my question is this: How can you call Clinton a bad pres cause he doesn;t war enough, then denounce him for sending people off to war. Truth is and it is common knowledge that Clinton wan;t into going to war.QuoteYou just said they weren't wars, they were military assaults. Now they are wars. I'm confused, are you saying they were wars or not?
I said what wasn't a war? I've never been engaged in a war, but I think the definition of a war would be as small as you and another person shooting at each other. You're being intentionally semantic with you need to define a war. VN was a police action, so the casualties must have been few. I don;t need your semantics to know that Clinton did what he could to avoid conflict.QuoteSo now they were wars but were necessary wars?
I said what wasn't awar? I feel bad for teh Repubs, they are relegated to having a war of senatics to defend their position.QuoteDid you know KBR's profit last year was 3.7%? Did you know they tried to sell KBR nad nobody wanted to buy it because of such low profits?
Gee I didn't know that, don't belive it, and don't care what they report as profits. Even if true, do we believe major corps that cook the books? I knew a guy that cooked his books by claiming he made more profit in a year of his small restaurant so he could sell it for more, so people cook em both ways..... I don't believe that BS. If you pay the top execs well into 7 figs, that will break a corp.QuoteI'm glad to see people are getting smarter.
They're going to demonstrate that intel in about a week, don't think you'll be too glad then.
Even if the Dems don't take either side, they will close the gap for 2008 which is still a win.
Quoteapparently he just released an apology.
Well, we will just have to wait to see if he's sincere enough.

Quoteapparently he just released an apology.
ooooooo - that's the hardest thing for a politician to do. You have the text?
What will he do if his political career is over? I mean all he has is his wife's money, mansions, jets, boats, and a lot of leisure time to spend it on himself..
poor bastard, you have to feel really sorry for him

He would go back to Mass, where they will still re-elect him indefinitely just as like Ted "the bottle/chappaquiddick" Kennedy.
Never understood Massachusetts.

I didn't say he was a bad President b/c he didn't go to war. You claimed he avoided war. I was just pointing out what you said was false.

I didn't say they weren't wars, you claimed "Clinton denounced war and avoided sending others to it." Then you claimed they weren't wars, that they were Military Assaults and now you are claiming Clinton did everything he could to avoid a conflict. How was the U.S. being threatened by Milosavich? What justification did Clinton have to invade a country that posed no imminent threat to the U.S.?
QuoteSo now they were wars but were necessary wars?

You are the one having trouble defining the difference between a war and a Military Assault.

I see facts be damned, you will believe what you want. Are you sure you want to go on record with that statement? We won't forget you said it.

I simply cannot accept that apology. He's not taking enough personal respnsibility and frankly, I'd like to see him be more sincere.
