Same with the guys pushing the homophobe amendment, then picking up little boys; you have ZERO wiggle room when you advocate with the sword.

There's something just....wrong... about using the words "homophobe", "little boys", "zero wiggle room" and "sword" all in the same sentence....

I can hear him flipping again

How many stories has your buddy Bush come up with concerning how well things are going in Iraq....[:/][:/]

Oh and I guess its not staying the course when the course changes due to strategic... what do you call them now timetables....benchmarks.....

Oh the horror of being proven to be a flip flopper.

Exactly, like the reasons to invade a country...they evolve over time....

Kerry did not flip flop. The correct term for him was 'pandering'.

Bush changing war justification priorities is also not flip flopping, it's more of an 'any port in a storm' strategy.

please people, get it right :P

Here, I'll fix it for ya......

Quote

:P

Irony here is that the public being against the war, if we dissect the war choice by Kerry's vote, it was initially to go for it, then to avoid it, being the flip-flop. So if you asked the public which was the right choice of the 2, they would adore the 2nd choice, the alleged flip-flop, so the public would now decry the vote rather than the alleged flip-flop. And this is w/o considering the lies/intel fed to Congress by Bsuh.

So come on scared Repubs, decry the vote rather than the chenge of vote, which is percieved as smart by the public.

So now there are degees of cowardice? OK, so where on the continuum of coward does Cheney and Bush fall? Either way, at the end of the day, they are cowards who advocate war,

Clinton is a war coward who denounces war and avoids sending others to it.

Again, see the hypocrisy? Same with the guys pushing the homophobe amendment, then picking up little boys; you have ZERO wiggle room when you advocate with the sword.

Um... Bosnia, Haiti??????????

Quote

Those were massive military assaults. Total the number of casualties and let me know the difference between that and now.

Oh, OK just let me know what the dead body cut-off is between a war and a military assault, OK?

Quote

Also, you set up a no-winner, if Clinton engaged in no wars, he would be worse than not engaging in any wars/police actions. So now he's a war-monger for those puny conflicts?

You just said they weren't wars, they were military assaults. Now they are wars. I'm confused, are you saying they were wars or not?

Quote

The totality would yield that Clinton intentionally stayed out of wars that weren;t neccessary.

So now they were wars but were necessary wars?

Quote

The Dems of the mid 1900's engaged in all kinds of conflicts,

But they weren't wars, right?

Quote

the neo-Dems, Carter-forward do not. Whom ever we get for the next Dem pres will be expectd to avoid wars,

But military assaults would be OK, right?

Quote

raise taxes on the rich, pay down the Repubs massive debt, help he poor and things like that.

The next Repubs elected will be expected to cut taxes for the rich, over-spend for corporate charities like Halliburton,

Did you know KBR's profit last year was 3.7%? Did you know they tried to sell KBR nad nobody wanted to buy it because of such low profits?

Quote

cut social programs and the sort.

People have figured it out, only took em 25 years. Hell, it only took 100 years to figure out how bad smoking is and enact laws to protect non-smokers, so Americans are slow, but I think we eventualy get it right once we get thru the corporate tape.

I'm glad to see people are getting smarter.

I can hear him flipping again: News

Why don't we all sing:

They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Flipper, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under the sea!

Everyone loves the king of VC,
Ever so kind and gentle is he,
Tricks he will do when children appear,
And how they laugh when he's near!

They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning,
No-one you see, is smarter than he,
And we know Flipper, lives in a world full of wonder,
Flying there-under, under VC

Now see there, you are behind the times. It's not flip-flopping anymore, it's Evolving Ones' Views. :D:D:D

I don't have it and I don't now that there is one, but my question is this: How can you call Clinton a bad pres cause he doesn;t war enough, then denounce him for sending people off to war. Truth is and it is common knowledge that Clinton wan;t into going to war.

Quote

You just said they weren't wars, they were military assaults. Now they are wars. I'm confused, are you saying they were wars or not?

I said what wasn't a war? I've never been engaged in a war, but I think the definition of a war would be as small as you and another person shooting at each other. You're being intentionally semantic with you need to define a war. VN was a police action, so the casualties must have been few. I don;t need your semantics to know that Clinton did what he could to avoid conflict.

Quote

So now they were wars but were necessary wars?

I said what wasn't awar? I feel bad for teh Repubs, they are relegated to having a war of senatics to defend their position.

Quote

Gee I didn't know that, don't belive it, and don't care what they report as profits. Even if true, do we believe major corps that cook the books? I knew a guy that cooked his books by claiming he made more profit in a year of his small restaurant so he could sell it for more, so people cook em both ways..... I don't believe that BS. If you pay the top execs well into 7 figs, that will break a corp.

I'm glad to see people are getting smarter.

They're going to demonstrate that intel in about a week, don't think you'll be too glad then.

Even if the Dems don't take either side, they will close the gap for 2008 which is still a win.

apparently he just released an apology.

ooooooo - that's the hardest thing for a politician to do. You have the text?

What will he do if his political career is over? I mean all he has is his wife's money, mansions, jets, boats, and a lot of leisure time to spend it on himself..

poor bastard, you have to feel really sorry for him

He would go back to Mass, where they will still re-elect him indefinitely just as like Ted "the bottle/chappaquiddick" Kennedy.

Never understood Massachusetts.

I didn't say he was a bad President b/c he didn't go to war. You claimed he avoided war. I was just pointing out what you said was false.

I didn't say they weren't wars, you claimed "Clinton denounced war and avoided sending others to it." Then you claimed they weren't wars, that they were Military Assaults and now you are claiming Clinton did everything he could to avoid a conflict. How was the U.S. being threatened by Milosavich? What justification did Clinton have to invade a country that posed no imminent threat to the U.S.?

So now they were wars but were necessary wars?

You are the one having trouble defining the difference between a war and a Military Assault.

I see facts be damned, you will believe what you want. Are you sure you want to go on record with that statement? We won't forget you said it. :D
