Is Kerry the one who went to Vietnam, or is he the one that stayed home?
He failed to obtain additional deferments... not from lack of trying.
Yes, he should have got more education.
I heard he got in to quite a snit when Uncle Sam turned down his request to go play in Europe for a year.

So his alleged remarks are based on personal experience. Well, can't criticize a guy for telling the truth. It would be nice if GWB would tell the truth from time to time.

Would that be the "Winter Soldier" truth, or the "I threw my medals over the White House fence" truth?

In Kerry's case it's the "I actually served in combat in Vietnam" truth.

Contrary to popular Liberal belief... Bush never claimed to have gone to Vietnam... he only claimed to have served in the military.
Bush was proud enough to authorized his service record be released (blemishes and all)... where was Kerry's?

Guess Kerry wasn't so proud of his, for all his talk... did you know that he served in Vietnam?

Uhmm, Kerry volunteered for Vietnam twice. Once on board the Gridley in the Tonkin Gulf and then on a swift boat.
Let's see now what did coke snorting drunkboy volunteer for... oh, yeah, uhmmmm to protect Texas from those evil doers in Oklahoma. Oh, he was also brave enough to volunteer the U.S. military to invade a country that posed no threat and created a far more dangerous world. Way to go. What a moron of a president(?).

Quick question: how many times can one person release "all of the records"?

110% of the time.

Depends on what the records are related to. If asked to release Military record on job performance, that would be different than Military medical records.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg said the change in tone was the result of the Bush administration trying to shift responsibility for the war onto the shoulders of the generals . . . The generals were attempting to insulate themselves from future criticism that they tried to sugarcoat events in Iraq, he said.

But Bush _supports_ the troops, and he listens to his generals. Really.
