Uh . . if Clinton can be a bigot by your reckoning, and still be the darling of the Democrats, then why should those opposed to gay marriage on the Republican side be vilified by Democrats. That is what is so what. Seemed pretty obvious to me. Why is being opposed to polygamy OK? I know a lot will say that they don't have a problem with it being legal, but they also don't have a problem (they aren't vilified as bigots, or 'phobes) with those that would not let that be so.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Can't parse that sentence. Are you saying that "a lot" will not have a problem with those that would not have a problem with polygamy? Or will "a lot" not have a problem with people who DO have a problem with polygamy? And if they do - what does that mean, anyway? In any case, are you against polygamy? tbrown 26 #80 November 1, 2006 QuoteQuoteThe KKK are incredibly racist, but I don't think they are secretly black. Dont forget their abject hatred of Jews.. maybe they just want to be one of GOD's chosen people and cant. They may not be black, but their grandma might be. To this day the white branch of Thomas Jefferson's family refuses to recognize Jefferson's black descendants by his slave Sally Hemmings, inspite of mounting DNA evidence. I remember once reading about some Klansman who committed suicide because he couldn't reconcile his shame at being a Jew himself. He'd been able to hide it, but couldn't live with it. It stands to reason that a man who is raised to believe being gay is sinful or shameful would hate and fear his own attraction to other guys. He sees them and fears becoming one of "them".
