But he's "The Decider"! And that's what he decided to call them.

The reporter says, "it may be petty..."

Yes, I think it is petty.

Bush knows he is not very slick. Clinton, Carter, now they were extremely slick with words and conveying sincerity.

I like the fact that Bush can laugh at himself about it. For instance, they have a regular meeting they intentionally call the 'strategery' meeting. :D
People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Or . . . He's an Ivy League schooled super genius pretending to be a goofball because he thinks that has more appeal.

Is he Pinkey or the Brain?

I trust you've seen this.

I'm not convinced he's not just playing national idiot. Of course I'm not convinced it's an act, either.

That would be funny, but for one thing.[:/]

He was campaigning yesterday for a candidate he kept calling "Dave". Trouble is, the guy's name is Jeff.

The documentary that showed up on HBO in 2001 or 2 (See George Run, I believe) made it clear that he's dumbing it down a little for his public appearances.

Past that, I think he's proven that it's better to own up to mistakes and move on rather than to keep digging a deeper hole for himself and America.

Interesting. I don't have a television or HBO, so I seem to have missed that documentary.

Jeff, Dave, they're all the same to "the Decider".

So maybe he's trying the same "stratergy" as this guy:

Correction - it was called Journeys with George. Video journal of a woman in the press corp that travelled with the Governor during his election campaign.
