We tried to start a movement

Recommended Posts

A friend and myself created this back in 1977 at North County Tech offset litho 11th grade in St. Louis county (found it in an old H.S. yearbook today while cleaning out a closet). I did photoshop the blue into it. I always wore my cowboy hat, even to class. I always thought the saying was quite profound. Not sure if we came up with the saying or got it from something else. We tacked it up all around St. Louis. Anyways... I need another cowboy hat.
"...And once you're gone, you can't come back
When you're out of the blue and into the black."

Dude, screw the movement, put that on a T-Shirt, sell them wholesale to Spencer's stores all over the country, and board-walk outlets from Venice Beach to Ocean City. I bet they sell nicely! B|
So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh
Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright
'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life
Make light!
